 College FASHION   HACKS .........

I really love the word FASHION ! I get butterflies in my stomach when I hear the name. Fashion is the way where, how , what, why  you express physically . I love to wear comfy, breathable, not so revealing clothes most of the times . I really like casual and basic pieces with a little funky spirit . I am a fashionista but also a busy and studious Babe !
College is a place where you need to look neat , comfortable and stylish because you need to impress yourself and others and alongside , you should have focus on your studies and other important events and most importantly , you have to sit for long hours there ,studying ( I have to sit for 7-8 hours a day ) and also have to do practicals. So , a casual , modest , sober, simple , cute, comfortable, funky look is important.
 Most important college tips :
1) Clothes should be breathable, slightly loose, modest, cute, not too much attention-seeking and gaudy ( avoid silk, highheels , skinny jeans, tops which are too short and tight as you need to walk, study a lot).
2) Keep your accessories to a minimal ( avoid bracelets as you need to write a lot ). Wear simple and small - beaded necklaces , short or medium-sized earrings , cute clips.
3) It should NOT be the main reason why you go for college as STUDY is the first priority. Means , too much is not good .
4) It should represent yourself ( in a good way and with limits) and not to dress in order to look perfect according to toxic standards.
5) If you have some religious , political , etc. reasons for doing a particular kind of dressing like not wearing pants or wearing hijab, its OK and don't try to change it to look more socially appreciating to others. ( I will have a special blog for hijabi college fashion hacks).
6) Wear casual pieces and not too much ruffle . It should be basic with little FUNK and SOUL .
7) Don't opt for fast fashion. Means if a particular shirt goes out of style , don't throw it . Instead, try to blend it with funky outfits , jackets, skirts and revamp and upcycle. You can also shop from ethical,eco-friendly and secondhand brands ( it should have quality). Avoid Shein, AliExpress as fast as possible as they are not eco friendly and also produce low-quality clothing .
8) Buy clothes which will be easily worn, slightly loose and be useful for various outfits and occassions . Like a simple-designed shirt , denim jacket and blue jeans or a modest dress will be a good idea/combo.

   Ok , let's start..
1) FEMININE BLISS
" FEMININITY can be a powerful thing !"
Feminine Is Never Out Of Style. Some women love to be feminine and like to wear dresses over pants . Some Evangelical women dress to not crossdress ( wearing pants isn't a sin and they are extremists in my opinion) . Dressing feminine in dresses and florals has its own charm and cuteness. I really like to wear them sometimes. As a moderately girly girl , I love to dress that way and college is a great place. Also it is very easy to wear it .
1) Wear a dungaree and a top ( wear half-sleeves or full-sleeves) and shine !

2) Florals are a great idea if you are too feminine . It is great during summer.
3) If you wanna travel or opt for slightly tomboyish or casual look , this outfit is great . Combine a short , sporty frock with a cowboy jacket and shoes.
4) If there is cold , wear a spaghetti dress with denim jacket and if its not , wear half-sleeved as it is college and dress MODESTLY . You can combine it with a small, feminine belt and leave your hair half-open or tie into a bun like this..

It can be worn with pants too especially if you are doing practicals or more modest look.

  • The joy of dressing is in wearing an Indian dress!
  • Indian dresses never go out of fashion. I really love to wear them on special occassions. College is a good place. Also if only Indian dresses like churidar, kurti are allowed , then this part is for u ! That complete combo of pant , kurti and dupatta is mashallah ! Also if there is a traditional day, the outfit ideas which will be shown by me will be very helpful to u !
  • 1) An orange set for a traditional , hindu festival is wow. I combined this outfit from scratch , in emergency . The champa flower adds the extra indian charm. A nude lipstick and brown winged eyeliner is a must makeup with a shimmery highlighter.

  • A soft rosy and pastel-coloured dress is great for a casual , religious or any other event. I wore red lipstick and winged eyeliner ( black) with diamond hairclips , bracelet and pearl necklace.
  • This silver dress is great for festivals like christmas, eid .

A saree is a great idea if there is Dusshera or Diwali. Apply good amount of makeup (shimmery or matte) with good amount of jewelry ( don't look gaudy) and steal the show ! You can pair a croptop with a beautiful saree. Don't wear too heavy ones as you are stylish and traditional but a student too.
This dress from Max is wonderful. It is cotton and traditional design . Wear it with jeans.
This anarkali from Reliance Trends can be worn as a dress or a punjabi suit. Groom up like me and be the sober-beauty blend with pop and Indianness.

  • I really like casual clothes while going to classes. They are comfy and I can sit for lot of time and study maths ! Also , my class starts at 8:30 am and sometimes I literally wake at 8:05 am !
